Tools and tips to help you make the most of your Dragon experience

Microphones and Other Devices

Each edition of Dragon includes a high quality noise-canceling headset. In addition, the Premium and higher editions of Dragon can be used with a wireless headset to achieve the same great accuracy -- without the wires.

The Premium and higher editions of Dragon can also be used with a digital voice recorder, enabling you to be more productive while away from your PC.

The new free Dragon Remote Microphone application (available in the Apple app store) allows Dragon customers using Premium 11.5 and higher or the newest updated version of Dictate 2 to use their mobile device as a wireless microphone.

For more information about the models and styles of microphones and other devices that can be used with Dragon, consult our Hardware Compatibility List. This listing of third-party hardware covers both current and legacy models of array, desktop, headset and wireless microphones as well as PDAs, recorders, sound cards and tablet PCs. Nuance has evaluated each of these devices in our compatibility labs so that you can determine the best hardware to meet your individual needs.
