You can e-mail, fax or send your documents to repositories on a networked file server with a simple drag-and-drop onto the PaperPort SendTo Bar. The PDF file format combined with the SendTo Bar makes it easy to distribute documents in a form that is viewable and printable on any computer around the world. - Paper on-ramp for content management systems
PaperPort Professional adds value to existing investments in enterprise content management (ECM) by allowing the seamless movement of content between the PC and the ECM repository. Sacn documents directly to Microsoft® SharePoint® for enterprise-wide sharing and archival. Check SharePoint documents in and out from the PaperPort desktop for seamless content and process management. - Utilize all network and workgroup assets
PaperPort Professional delivers digital documents to the desktop from e-mail or any networked folder attached to a scanner, multifunction printer or fax server. Simply scan in your document and have it sent to your e-mail address or networked folder. PaperPort will detect the presence of the new file and copy it to any folder you choose. PaperPort can also display the file on your desktop when you get back to your computer so you don't forget where it went. If your device supports an image format other than PDF then PaperPort can also automatically convert your files into PDF upon delivery. - Scan to your favorite application
PaperPort Professional works with any scanning device to quickly turn paper into PDF files. Save time and effort by scanning directly to specific applications like email, Microsoft® Word®, or Microsoft® SharePoint®, or even to digital fax using ScanDirect™ technology. Batch scanning capabilities support scanning several documents at once using an automatic document feeder to further boost your productivity. - Section 508 and Microsoft Windows XP certified

Customers, VARs and integrators can use the PaperPort Link Agent SDK to create custom links and workflows for PaperPort. Examples include process-specific paper on-ramps to Documentum and FileNET, and the ability to drag and drop multi-type document sets onto a workflow process.
